
Li Yang, female, Ph.D., Associate Professor. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Measurement & Control Technology and Instrumentation in 2006, a Master's degree in Pattern Recognition in 2009, and a Ph.D. in Control Science and Engineering in 2012. She has been teaching at the Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology since 2012.
She has long been engaged in research on hazardous chemical safety technology and its applications. She currently serves as a peer reviewer for journals including Water Science and Technology and International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health. She has presided over or participated in more than 10 research projects, such as the Beijing Municipal Education Commission's Science and Technology Plan Project "Research on Key Technologies for Hazardous Chemical Palletized Warehouse Cargo Positioning", the Beijing Municipal Education Commission's Technological Innovation Capability Improvement Plan "Research and Demonstration Application of Key Technologies for Safety Reserve Status Detection and Early Warning in Hazardous Chemical Warehouses", and "Technology R&D for Hazardous Chemical Warehouse Automatic Monitoring Systems". Simultaneously, she has participated in multiple science and technology projects for the Beijing Municipal Emergency Management Bureau. She has published over 20 papers, authorized 22 patents and software copyrights, published one academic book, and one textbook.
