Jian Kang



 Jian Kang, female, born in February 1984 in Liaoyuan, Jilin Province, is an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor. She graduated from Northeast Petroleum University with a bachelor's degree in Engineering Mechanics in 2007, and obtained a Ph.D. in Safety Technology and Engineering from China University of Petroleum (Beijing) in 2015. From August 2013 to August 2014, she participated in a joint training program at Texas A&M University in the United States. She currently teaches and conducts research at the School of Safety Engineering, Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology.

A nationally certified safety engineer and a nationally certified Level II safety assessor, she has been recognized as an outstanding talent by the Organization Department of the Beijing Municipal Committee and serves as a lecturer for Beijing's large-scale safety production training program. She has published over 50 academic papers and more than 30 papers were indexed by SCI and wrote 2 books. She has led multiple high-level research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation's Youth Science Fund and technology initiatives from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Beijing Municipal Emergency Management Bureau.
