Chenglin Zhai



Chenglin Zhai, Assistant Professor, holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Safety Engineering, both from Chongqing University, obtained in 2014 and 2017, respectively. In 2021, he received his Ph.D. in Engineering from the Beijing Institute of Technology, specializing in Armament Science and Technology. From 2022 to 2024, he conducted postdoctoral research at both Tsinghua University and the Beijing Academy of Emergency Management Science and Technology. In July 2024, he joined the Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology, where he is currently involved in teaching and research.

His research primarily focuses on risk quantification, damage assessment, and emergency management, along with other related areas. Until now, he has published over 10 academic papers as the first author or corresponding author. He has also led or contributed to more than 10 research projects. Additionally, he was selected for the 2023-2025 Young Elite Scientists Sponsorship Program by BAST and the Young Elite Scientists Sponsorship Program by Beijing Association of Emergency Management.
