Jixin Zhang



Jixin Zhang, male, holds a Ph.D. in Engineering. The current positions include Associate Professor, Master's Supervisor, Senior Engineer, and Deputy Dean of the School of Safety Engineering at the Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology. His additional professional credentials comprise Registered Safety Engineer and Grade-2 Safety Evaluation Engineer, with recognition as a Young Academic Leader in Beijing's emergency management field. His primary research directions focus on hydrogen energy risk assessment and emergency management, urban infrastructure safety and resilience, and safety monitoring and early warning for urban gas systems. His leadership has been demonstrated on key projects including the National Science and Technology Project for Major Accident Prevention in Workplace Safety, the Beijing Municipal Committee Organization Department's Outstanding Talent Training Funding Project, the Beijing Municipal Education Commission's Science and Technology Plan Project, and multiple government-commissioned initiatives. His current roles include membership in the Beijing Municipal Emergency Management Bureau's expert database. His research leadership encompasses over 40 projects. His scholarly output includes more than 40 publications, with over 20 indexed in SCI, one authored textbook, contribution to five Beijing local standards, and several research reports adopted by relevant government departments.
