Guantao Wang



Guantao Wang, lecturer, holds a Doctor of Engineering degree. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering from China University of Geosciences (Beijing) in 2015 and subsequently completed his Ph.D.at the same university, earning a Doctoral degree in Safety Science and Engineering in 2020. From November 2020 to September 2023, he conducted postdoctoral research at the School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation, Beihang University. Since September 2023, he has been engaged in teaching at the School of Safety Engineering, Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology. Currently, Dr. Wang serves as the Secretary-General of the "Engineering Research Center for Dynamic Risk Control of Hazardous Goods in the Petroleum and Chemical Industry".

Dr. Wang's research focuses on industrial safety management, urban risk assessment, structural health monitoring, and functional composite materials. He has successively presided over multiple provincial and ministerial-level scientific research projects, including the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation and the Guangdong Provincial Science Foundation. He has published more than 10 academic papers indexed by SCI/EI, obtained 5 authorized national invention patents, and achieved the transformation of 2 technological achievements. Additionally, he has guided students to win 2 awards in the China International "Internet Plus" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and the Capital Challenge Cup Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.
