
Pengfei Lv, male, born in September 1986 in Zhoukou, Henan Province, holds a Ph.D. in Engineering and serves as an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering from Zhengzhou University in 2008, followed by a Master's degree in Safety Technology and Engineering from China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing) in 2011, and obtained his Ph.D. in Safety Technology and Engineering from the same university in 2014. He currently serves as the Vice Dean of the School of Safety Engineering at Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology.
His research focuses on the explosion disaster effects and safety protection of flammable and explosive hazard sources. He has undertaken projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Key Technology Project for Prevention and Control of Major Work Safety Accidents of the former State Work Safety Supervision Administration. He has published more than ten academic papers. He was awarded the Second Prize of the Outstanding Scientific Research Achievements (Science and Technology) of Institutions of Higher Education by the Ministry of Education (ranked 3rd), and the First Prize of Science and Technology of the China Occupational Safety and Health Association (ranked 4th), among others. He was selected into the Young Top Talent Cultivation Program of the High-Level Teacher Team Construction Support Program for Beijing Municipal Colleges and Universities.
