Wei Wang
Wei Wang, male, Han ethnicity, born in June 1972, from Wuqiao, Hebei Province, Associate Professor, Master's Supervisor, "Young and Middle-aged Backbone Teacher" in Beijing. He graduated from Beijing Institute of Technology with a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Electronic Engineering. He is currently a full-time teacher of the Department of Electrical Engineering, has been teaching for more than 30 years, and has served as the head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, focusing on core courses such as "Metro Power Supply Technology", "Engineering Electromagnetic Field", "Low-voltage Electrical Appliances and PLC Control Technology", and "Professional English and Science and Technology Writing". He is mainly engaged in scientific research in switching power supply design, unmanned multi-vehicle collaborative technology, and energy-saving technology of distribution networks.
As the project leader, he has undertaken the science and technology development plan project of the Beijing Municipal Education Commission and five other horizontal projects of enterprises. He has published more than 10 advanced papers. He has written jointly "Electrical Engineering and Automation Professional English" (3rd edition), and was rated as "High-quality Undergraduate Textbook for Beijing Colleges and Universities" in 2022. He has guided the national college students to win the first and second prizes in the national finals of the "Siemens Cup" China Intelligent Manufacturing Challenge.
