Youming Yu
Youming Yu, male, born in August 1968 in Tongcheng, Anhui Province. He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering, and he is an Associate Professor and a Master's Supervisor. He graduated from Beijing Institute of Technology with a major in Computer Application Technology. He is a visiting scholar at the University of Washington and recognized as a Young Backbone Teacher in municipal colleges and universities in Beijing. He currently works at the Department of Computer Science and Technology in the School of Information Engineering.
His primary teaching and research areas include Operating Systems, Embedded Systems and Applications, Linux Systems and Programming. His research focuses on intelligent computing, knowledge graphs, robot ROS systems, public safety monitoring devices, large models and GIS systems, as well as the development and improvement of general and specialized production equipment and their functionalities. He has presided over or participated in 13 provincial/ministerial-level projects, authored 2 textbooks, obtained 2 software copyrights and 6 patents, and published over 20 scientific and technical papers.
