Jianli Li



Jianli Li, male, born in January 1979 in Jiaozuo, Henan Province, holds a Ph.D. in Engineering and is an Associate Professor and Master’s Supervisor. He received his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Equipment and Machinery from Lanzhou University of Technology in 2001, his master’s degree in Chemical Process Machinery from Beijing University of Chemical Technology in 2006, and his Ph.D. in Engineering in Mechanical Design and Theory from Beijing University of Chemical Technology in 2009. From 2009 to 2011, he conducted research as a postdoctoral fellow at the Postdoctoral Research Station of Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics at East China University of Science and Technology. In October 2011, he joined Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology, where he currently serves as Deputy Director of the Department of Energy Engineering in the School of Mechanical Engineering. He is a core member of the Hydrogen Energy Research Center and a member of the Beijing Key Laboratory of Liquid Hydrogen Technology and Applications.

His research primarily focuses on technological development, simulation, and experimental studies in the areas of hydrogen storage and transportation, solar thermal energy utilization, and the integration of efficient heat transfer with phase-change thermal energy storage. In recent years, he has led one project under the Beijing Municipal Universities Young Talents Program and four industry-commissioned projects, and has participated in six national- or provincial/ministerial-level projects, including a sub-project of the National Key R&D Program of China (Hydrogen Energy Special Program), a United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) project, the 863 Program, projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Science and Technology Support Program during the 11th Five-Year Plan, and a key science and technology research project of the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission. He has published nearly 30 papers in core journals, including 5 indexed by SCI and 4 indexed by EI; served as chief editor of one textbook and contributing editor of four textbooks; obtained authorization for 18 national patents, including 6 invention patents; and holds 2 software copyrights.
