Yunfeng Xiao



Yunfeng Xiao, male, born in October 1976 in Lezhi County, Sichuan Province, Master of Engineering, Associate Professor, Master’s Supervisor

He received his Bachelor’s degree from the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Beijing University of Chemical Technology in 1999, and his Master’s degree in Chemical Machinery from the same institution in 2002. He has been serving as a faculty member at Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology since then.

His research focuses on the aerodynamics, structural strength, and rotor dynamics of turbo machinery, as well as the integrated development of high-speed air bearing suspended turbine machine, such as centrifuge compressor, air cooler machine, cryogenic helium turboexpander. To date, he has led 42 enterprise-sponsored research projects, published 11 academic papers, and 2 invention patents.
