
Wenhai Du, male, born in October 1981, from Baoji, Shaanxi Province. He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering, is an Associate Professor, and a Master's Supervisor. He earned his Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Liège, Belgium. He previously worked at the National Nuclear Power Technology R&D Center and is currently employed at the Department of Energy Engineering, School of Mechanical Engineering, Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology, where he serves as the Department Head.
His research focuses on aerodynamic design of turbomachinery and thermal systems, development of high-performance hydrogen energy equipment, and design and simulation of microchannel heat exchangers. He serves as a reviewer for journals such as International Journal of Rotating Machinery, Journal of Thermal Science, and Journal of Engineering Thermophysics. He is also a communications evaluation expert for the Beijing Natural Science Foundation and the Degree and Graduate Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education. As project leader, he has undertaken 2 provincial/ministerial-level projects, including the Beijing Natural Science Foundation General Project and the Beijing Municipal Education Commission General Science and Technology Project. He has led 10 enterprise/university commissioned R&D projects for institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Dalian University of Technology, and CAS Hengfa, with cumulative research funding exceeding 3 million RMB. He has published over 20 papers, including 10 indexed by SCI/EI, obtained 2 software copyrights, and filed 3 invention patent applications.
