
Zhilian Zhang, female, born in March 1978. She served as Technical Director of Flow Science China Office from June 2007 to June 2009. She has been teaching at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology since July 2009, and currently holds the position of Deputy Director of the Graduate Affairs Department. Engaged in the full-lifecycle research (including design, simulation, experiment, and manufacturing) of impeller machinery and its thermal systems. She collaborated with enterprises to tackle key technological challenges, having undertaken and completed over 40 research projects with cumulative funding exceeding 10 million yuan. She developed serialized and standardized turbine units applicable to the petroleum and chemical industries, her developed technologies and product lines have been applied and produced in multiple enterprises, achieving remarkable economic and social benefits. She has published more than 50 academic papers, including 6 indexed by SCI/EI; obtained 1 national invention patent and 1 software copyright; won 2 Second Prizes of Provincial/Municipal-Level Science and Technology Progress Awards.
