Xufei Yang

Xufei Yang, male, born in July 1986, Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor, received his Bachelor's degree in Thermal Energy and Power Engineering from the University of Science and Technology Beijing in 2008, his Master's degree in Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics from the same university in 2011, and his Ph.D. degree in Renewable and Clean Energy Engineering from North China Electric Power University in 2016. He currently serves as Deputy Director of the Department of Energy Engineering at Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology (BIPT). He is a selected individual under the Youth Backbone Talent Program of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee and a member of the MOE Third Batch of National Huang Danian–Style Teaching Teams.

Dr. Yang teaches undergraduate courses for students majoring in Energy and Power Engineering and New Energy Science and Engineering. The course Engineering Fluid Mechanics was selected as a Key Excellent Undergraduate Course of Beijing Universities. He has presided over three MOE Industry–University Cooperative Education Projects, supervised six national- and municipal-level Undergraduate Research Training (URT) projects, and guided students to win more than 20 awards in national and municipal discipline competitions. His research focuses on clean and efficient utilization of renewable energy, enhanced heat transfer and thermal management in confined spaces, and related engineering applications. He has presided over one National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) project, three provincial and ministerial-level projects, and four enterprise-commissioned projects, and has published more than 10 academic papers, including several SCI/EI-indexed journal articles.
