Hanyong Li, female, born in Luoyang, Henan Province in July 1975, holds a Doctor of Engineering degree. She is an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor.
She graduated from the Department of Petroleum and Natural Gas Storage and Transportation Engineering, Southwest Petroleum Institute, with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in 1997. In 2003, she obtained her Master of Engineering degree from the Department of Oil and Gas Storage and Transportation Engineering, China University of Petroleum (Beijing). She earned her Doctor of Engineering degree from the same department of China University of Petroleum (Beijing) in 2012.
From 1997 to 2000, she worked as an Assistant Engineer at the Geotechnical Survey and Design Institute of Zhongyuan Oilfield, Henan Province. Since 2003, she has been teaching at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology.
Focusing on the field of clean energy and energy conservation and environmental protection technology, she is mainly engaged in research on long-distance oil and gas pipeline transportation technology and hydrogen energy storage and transportation technology. In the past five years, she has presided over and participated in more than 20 projects, including the General Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and projects from enterprises and institutions such as CNOOC, Sinopec and CNPC. Relying on the General Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China that she presided over, she has developed a variety of new-type super heavy oil viscosity reducers, which provide certain theoretical and practical support for the research on the mechanism of viscosity reduction and drag reduction in the process of super heavy oil exploitation and pipeline transportation at home and abroad. She has published more than 30 academic papers, 6 of which are included in SCI/EI; she has 2 authorized national invention patents; and she has edited 4 textbooks.
