The Drama “The Grand Song of the Blue Sea” by Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology Was Performed in Macau
From April 12 to 15, the immersive theatrical production “The Grand Song of the Blue Sea”, performed by students from Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology was showed in City University of Macau. The cast, comprising 16 faculty members and students, successfully completed this event over four days, marking the university's first cultural performance tour to the Hong Kong and Macau regions in its history.
On April 12, as the bus carrying the performance troupe of “The Grand Song of the Blue Sea” departed from the campus of BIPT, this group of non-performance majors embarked on a southern journey, tasked with organizing BIPT’s first cultural exchange tour outside Beijing and beyond its borders. Since its debut on campus in November 2024, this immersive play-based on the life of Academician Huang Xuhua, recipient of the Medal of the Republic-has evolved from a campus masterpiece into a true cultural ambassador.
