
Zhiqiang Hou, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, Registered Safety Engineer, and Safety Evaluator. He graduated from Southeast University and Beijing Jiaotong University successively. In 2018, he participated in a training course in Japan organized by the Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China for further study. He has won honors such as the Young Science and Technology Talent of the Ministry of Transport and the "May Fourth" Youth Medal of the Ministry of Transport. He once served as the legal person and general manager of Beijing Hailu Information Engineering Company under the Water Transport Research Institute of the Ministry of Transport. Currently, he is the Director of the Petrochemical Industry Dynamic Risk Prevention and Control Engineering Research Center, the Deputy Director of the Special Committee on Science and Technology Project Management of the Chinese Society of Science of Science and S&T Policy Research, and the Deputy Secretary-General of the Research Branch of Digital Scenarios and Intelligent Management of the Chinese Society of Operations Research and Management Science (CSORM).
He has long been engaged in research on transportation safety and anti-terrorism prevention. He is an expert in the expert database of the Ministry of Transport, a review expert for the Industry-University-Research Collaborative Education Program of the Ministry of Education, a review expert for science and technology talent awards of the China Association for Science and Technology, an expert of the Beijing Association for Science and Technology, an expert for the "Double Randomness and One Public Disclosure" supervision of the Pearl River Administration of Navigational Affairs of the Ministry of Transport, and an evaluation expert for the work safety standardization of transportation enterprises. He has presided over 8 national and ministerial-level projects, and more than 100 projects entrusted by local industry management departments and enterprises, including work safety standardization, risk consulting, dual prevention mechanism, and safety evaluation projects. He has published 30 academic papers; presided over and participated in compiling 5 national and industry standards; and won 22 science and technology awards from national-level societies/associations.
