
Jingru Ge, Associate Professor, Master's Supervisor, Ph.D. in Science, Postdoctoral Fellow. She graduated from Beijing Forestry University in 2013 with a Ph.D. in Science (specializing in Ecotourism within the Ecology program). She conducted postdoctoral research at the Beijing Institute of Technology Postdoctoral Workstation from 2021 to 2023, focusing on health and wellness tourism for two years.
Her primary research areas include ecotourism, health and wellness tourism, etc. She possesses extensive practical experience in tourism development projects, having worked on Beijing tourism development projects for a listed company. She has led multiple tourism-related planning projects such as "Tourism Industry Development Plan for Tanzhesi Town, Mentougou District, Beijing," "Tourism Planning and Design for Beijing Dingdufeng Scenic Area," and "Fragrant Corridor Planning and Design for Tanzhesi Town, Mentougou District, Beijing."
She has presided over provincial/ministerial-level vertical research projects including "Research on Pathways for Ecotourism and Scientific Utilization of Natural Resources in National Parks" and "Research on Management and Route Optimization of Ecological Health and Wellness Tourism Resources in Nature Protected Areas Based on Artificial Intelligence," as well as the university-level key teaching reform project "AI Reshaping Tourism Development." She published the monograph "Research on Wastewater Treatment in Tourism-Oriented Small Towns around Beijing" with a national first-class publishing house. She has published over 20 papers in authoritative domestic and international core journals indexed by SCI/SSCI/CSSCI/Peking University Core, such as "Journal of Plant Ecology" and "Frontiers in Plant Science." She completed 32 software copyrights related to health and wellness services and weak magnetic detection. She served as principal investigator or key contributor for more than 20 vertical/horizontal research projects and policy consultation projects.
