Yu Hu

Yu Hu was born in 1990 in Xinyu City, Jiangxi Province, holds a Ph.D. in Economics and is a Lecturer and Master's Supervisor. He graduated from North China Electric Power University in 2012 with a Bachelor's degree in Information Management and Information Systems, and obtained a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the same university in 2015. In 2023, he received his Ph.D. in Applied Economics from Beijing University of Technology. Since August 2023, he has been a Lecturer in the Information Management Department at the School of Economics and Management, Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology.

His research focuses on modeling, simulation, and decision-making for low-carbon policies in the energy (power) sector. He has successively led projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Beijing Natural Science Foundation, the Beijing Social Science Foundation, and enterprise-commissioned projects (2 projects as principal investigator). In the past five years, he has published 8 academic papers as the first author or corresponding author, 7 of which are indexed by SCI/EI (including 5 papers in Q1 and 1 paper in Q2 journals), and has been granted 1 national invention patent.
