
Weiguo Liu was born in December 1972, holds a doctoral degree. He is an associate professor and master’s supervisor, and currently serves as the Vice Dean of the School of Economics and Management.
His research focuses on energy economics, environmental economics and relevant statistical evaluation. He has presided over one National Social Science Fund Project, one key Beijing Municipal Planning Project and one general Beijing Municipal Planning Project. As a core participant, he has won numerous awards including the Second Prize of Beijing Outstanding Achievements in Philosophy and Social Sciences, one Second Prize and one Third Prize of National Outstanding Achievements in Statistical Science Research, the Second Prize of Basic Research Achievements from the Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China, as well as the Second Prize of Science and Technology Progress from China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation. He has published more than 20 academic papers.
