Liyan Liu
Liyan Liu was born in September 1978 in Shenyang, Liaoning Province. She earned her Doctor's degree in Theoretical Economics from Northeast University of Finance and Economics, and currently serves as an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor at the School of Economics and Management, Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology (BIPT).
Her research interests focus on green investment and corporate performance, ESG auditing, service industry development, and econometric methodologies. She has held visiting scholar positions at the University of Minnesota and the University of Massachusetts, USA. She has led 6 independent scientific research projects and collaborated with professors from the University of Massachusetts and the University of Miami (USA) to complete 1 joint research project. She has published over 30 academic papers in both Chinese and English journals, including those indexed in SSCI, EI, CSSCI, Peking University Core Journals, and other international English-language journals. Additionally, she has authored/translated 4 monographs and translated works (published by People's Publishing House and Economic Management Publishing House) and contributed to 3 co-authored works. She is the recipient of the “Beijing Young Talent” honor.
