
Yan Han, a native of Lvliang City, Shanxi Province, was born in June 1994. She has built a solid academic and professional background in the field of economics, with key experiences as follows: In 2015, she graduated from China Agricultural University, obtaining a Bachelor of Economics degree in International Economics and Trade. From 2015 to 2020, she pursued further academic studies through a joint training program—co-hosted by the College of Economics and Management at China Agricultural University and the Department of Applied Economics, College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS) at the University of Minnesota (U.S.)—and successfully earned a Doctor of Economics degree, majoring in International Trade. Currently, Yan Han serves as an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor at the Department of International Trade, School of Economics and Management, Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology. Additionally, she holds the position of Deputy Director at the Research Center for Energy, Environment and Low-Carbon Development.
Her research focuses on foreign direct investment and firm productivity, low-carbon economy, and enterprise performance auditing. She has presided over 1 provincial/municipal-level scientific research project, 1 Science and Technology Innovation Funding Project of Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology, and 1 Key Teaching Reform Project of Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology, and participated in more than 10 national-level and provincial/municipal-level projects. She has published over 20 academic papers, among which 11 are indexed by SCI/SSCI/CSSCI/CSCD. She has also published 1 monograph with a central-level press and participated in compiling 2 works. In addition, she serves as a reviewer for several SCI/SSCI-indexed journals such as Transportation, Scientific Reports and Kybernetes.
