Shaopo Huang
Shaopo Huang, male, born in 1986, Associate Professor, and Master's Supervisor. He graduated from Hebei University of Technology with a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (research area: Fault Diagnosis & Prognosis of Electrical Machines and Drives). He currently serves as an Associate Professor in the School of Information Engineering, Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology.
His main research interests include fault diagnosis and prognosis of electrical machines and drives, reliability of motor drive systems, and reliability testing of low-voltage electrical apparatus. As the principal investigator, he has undertaken one project from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (2025–2028), one project from the Beijing Municipal Education Commission (2023–2025), and several industrial projects. He has published more than 30 journal papers (including IEEE Transactions), 6 conference papers, and holds 9 granted Chinese invention patents and 2 software copyrights. He has received the Silver Medal at the 48th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva (2023), the Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Nomination Award from the China Electrotechnical Society (2022), and the First Prize of the Hebei Province Science and Technology Progress Award (2014). He also serves as a regular reviewer for multiple IEEE Transactions and Elsevier journals.
