Chun Fang, female, born in April 1981, in Jingzhou, Hubei Province, China. She is an Associate Professor and Master’s supervisor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology, School of Information Engineering, Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology. She received her Ph.D. from Waseda University, Japan, in 2014. She was a JSPS Research Fellow at the University of Tokyo (2017–2019) and a visiting scholar at Waseda University (2023–2024).

Her research interests include big data analytics, intelligent computing, and bioinformatics. She has led multiple funded projects supported by the NSFC, JSPS, provincial foundations, and the China Scholarship Council, and has published over 40 research papers, including more than 20 SCI-indexed journal articles.
