Ran Dong
Ran Dong, male, Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Control Theory and Control Engineering from Harbin Engineering University in 2016. From April 2016 to July 2018, he worked as a Project Lead Engineer in SERI. Since July 2018, he has been a faculty member in School of Information Engineering, Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology.
His research interests focus on complex system control technology, offshore operation and support technology, and related fields. He has participated in multiple scientific research projects funded by national and provincial authorities, and has led 6 research projects. He has published more than 20 academic papers, including 14 in SCI/EI journals. Additionally, he holds 4 authorized national invention patents as the first inventor. Currently, he serves as a reviewer for several domestic and international academic journals, and as a peer reviewer for projects sponsored by the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
