
Kepeng Qiu, male, born in August 1990 in Maoming, Guangdong, is a Lecturer and Master's Supervisor. He received his B.S. degree from the School of Information Science and Technology, Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT) in 2014, and his Ph.D. in Control Science and Engineering from the College of Information Science and Technology, BUCT in 2020. From 2020 to 2022, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Automation, Tsinghua University. Since July 2023, he has been in the Department of Automation, School of Information Engineering, Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology.
His research interests focus on industrial process monitoring, fault diagnosis, intelligent soft sensing, and structured light 3D reconstruction. As a Principal Investigator, he leads a project funded by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission and two enterprise-commissioned projects, and participates in one National Natural Science Foundation project. He has published over 30 academic papers, including 10 SCI-indexed papers as the first or corresponding author in journals such as Control Engineering Practice, Journal of Process Control, and Measurement. He holds over 10 authorized invention patents and serves as a reviewer for journals including IEEE Sensors Journal and Measurement.
