
Baosheng Zhang, male, born in January 1971, from Handan, Hebei Province. He holds a Master of Engineering degree and is an associate professor and a master's supervisor. He graduated from Beihang University in 1992 with a bachelor's degree in Metal Pressure Processing and from China University of Petroleum (Beijing) in 1995 with a master's degree in Chemical Machinery. Since July 1995, he has been teaching at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology.
He is engaged in scientific research on petroleum machinery, design and research of electromechanical systems, etc. He has collaborated with enterprises to carry out technological breakthroughs and has undertaken and completed more than 10 scientific research projects. He has developed a series of standardized and serialized electric field demulsification equipment applicable to the petroleum industry. The technologies and products he developed have been applied and produced in many enterprises, achieving remarkable economic and social benefits. He has published over 40 papers, four of which have been indexed by EI. He holds one national invention patent and has authored one textbook. He has won one first prize for scientific and technological progress at the provincial and ministerial level.
