Huijie Zhang



Huijie Zhangfemale, born in June 1992, is from Kaifeng, Henan Province. She holds a Doctor of Engineering degree and currently works as a Lecturer and Master’s Supervisor. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Design, Manufacturing, and Automation from China University of Petroleum (Beijing) in 2015, and later received her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution in 2021. From September 2019 to September 2020, she was a joint Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Houston, USA.

Her research primarily focuses on rubber aging failure and laser processing, microstructural characterization. She has participated in several research projects, including one National Key Research and Development Program, one National Natural Science Foundation General Project, and one National Natural Science Foundation for Young Scientists. She has published over 10 academic papers, among which 5 are indexed in SCI.

I am currently recruiting Master’s candidates for the Professional Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Code: 0855), specializing in the field of Mechanical Engineering. I sincerely welcome motivated students with a background in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines to join my research group. Ideal candidates should be dedicated, innovative, and have a strong interest in laser processing technology and/or rubber aging mechanisms. Practical experience in 3D structural modeling or a keen interest in intelligent algorithms will be highly valued.
