Songtao Huang

Songtao Huang, male, born in February 1977 in Tianmen, Hubei Province. He holds a Doctoral Degree in Engineering and currently serves as an Associate Professor, supervising master's degree students. He graduated from Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology in 2000 with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical and Electronic Engineering. In 2004, he earned a Master's Degree in Mechanical Design and Theory from China University of Petroleum (Beijing Campus). He completed his doctoral research in Materials Processing Engineering at Beihang University in 2009. Since June 2009, he has been a faculty member at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology.

He has been engaged in the research and promotion of welding processes and equipment, special medium-to-high power digital control power supplies, and crude oil electric desalting (dehydration) technology. He has conducted scientific and technological research and technology dissemination through business enterprises, having undertaken and completed over 20 scientific research projects. He developed a series of fully digitally controlled high-frequency, high-voltage AC pulse power supplies for crude oil dehydration, which are at the forefront domestically. The welding controllers and high-power power supply series products he developed have been applied in multiple enterprises, yielding significant economic and social benefits. Additionally, he has published over 20 academic papers, with 7 of them indexed by SCI/EI.
