Jialei Zhu



Jialei Zhu, Male, born in 1981 in Heze, Shandong Province, Doctor of Engineering, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor. Currently serving as Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering, Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology.

He has long been engaged in teaching and scientific research in the fields of underwater welding and cutting technology, automated welding technology, and laser forming and processing technology. He currently holds multiple part-time positions, including Review Expert of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Vice Director of the Surfacing and Surface Engineering Professional Committee of the Chinese Welding Society, Member of the 11th Committee of the Welding Branch of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, Member of the 2nd Expert Committee of the Welding Equipment Branch of the China Welding Association, Standing Committee Member of the Youth Committee of the Welding Branch of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, Editorial Board Member of journals such as Transactions of the China Welding Institution, Electric Welding Machine, and Hot Working Technology, and Innovation Elite of Science and Technology-based Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Hebei Province. As the project leader, he has presided over more than 40 projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Key Research and Development Program (projects), National Science and Technology Major Project (sub-projects), and enterprise-commissioned projects; he has published more than 70 academic papers, among which more than 30 are indexed by SCI/EI. He has obtained about 50 authorized patents, including 21 invention patents, and 6 patent achievements have been transformed; he has participated in compiling 4 monographs. He has won many awards such as the First Prize for Technological Progress of the Chinese Society of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, the First Prize for Science and Technology of the China Nuclear Energy Association, and the First Prize for Technological Invention of the China Work Safety Association.
