
Cuihong Zhou, female, the Han Nationality, Professor, and a university-level renowned teacher at Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology. She graduated from the Department of Mineralogy at Anhui University of Science and Technology in 1997 with a bachelor's degree, from the same department in 2000 with a master's degree, and from China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing) in 2003 with a doctoral degree in Mineral Processing Engineering. Since July 2003, she has been engaged in teaching and research at the Department of Environmental Engineering, School of Mechanical Engineering, Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology. In December 2017, promoted to professor. In September 2012, she became a master's supervisor at Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology.
She has long-term specialized in separation theory and separation equipment, focusing on solid separation for solid waste sorting, solid-liquid separation for non-Newtonian fluid dehydration, and adsorption dispersion separation for polluted soil remediation, utilizing physical modification techniques such as low temperature, microwave, and ultrasound, as well as mechanical sorting methods to achieve comprehensive resource utilization and promote energy conservation and emission reduction. She hosted the National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Fund, National Natural Science Foundation Key Project Collaboration Project, Beijing Municipal Higher Education Talent Strong Education Deepening Plan "Young and Middle aged Backbone Talent Cultivation Plan" Project, Beijing Municipal Higher Education "Youth Top notch Talent Cultivation Plan" Project, Beijing Municipal Education Commission General Project, Beijing Municipal Excellent Talent Project, and participated in the National "863" Program, National Natural Science Foundation General Project, etc. She published over 50 academic papers as the first author or corresponding author, including over 10 papers indexed by SCI and EI; 4 authorized invention patents; Participated in the compilation of 2 textbooks; Received 3 provincial and ministerial level teaching awards; Received one China Petroleum and Petrochemical Engineering Textbook Publishing Fund in 2020.
