Lian Yu, male, born in June 1987, is from Jingzhou, Hubei Province. He holds a Doctor of Engineering degree and is a lecturer. He graduated from Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences in July 2015, obtaining a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering. From May 2018 to December 2020, he conducted postdoctoral research at the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology. Since December 2020, he has been teaching at the Department of Environmental Engineering, School of Mechanical Engineering, Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology.
He engaged in research on the controlled preparation of functional nanomaterials/membrane materials and their applications in the removal and separation of environmental pollutants. He has participated in multiple sub-projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National Major Science and Technology Special Project, and presided over two provincial and ministerial-level projects. Research achievements have been published in international renowned journals such as Journal of Hazardous Materials, Chemical Engineering Journal, Journal of Molecular Catalysis A: Chemical, Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, RSC Advances and Separation and Purification Technology. A total of 17 SCI papers have been published as the first or corresponding author, and two invention patents have been authorized.
