
Jianlong Hu, male, born in September 1986 in Xiangyin, Hunan Province, holds a Ph.D. in Engineering and serves as an Associate Professor, Senior Engineer, and Master's Supervisor. He received his Bachelor's degree (2008), Master's degree (2010), and Ph.D. degree (2013) in Environmental Engineering from China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing).
From July 2013 to February 2017, he worked at the Environmental Engineering Research and Design Institute of Beijing General Research Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, where he was promoted to Senior Engineer. From February 2017 to May 2019, he served as the Head of the Technical Quality Department at Sinochem Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd. In May 2019, he joined the School of Mechanical Engineering at Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology and serves as the Deputy Director of the Department of Environmental Engineering.
His research focuses on the advanced treatment and resource recovery of industrial wastewater, including oilfield produced water and heavy-metal-containing wastewater. Closely aligned with industrial engineering needs, he has led one National Natural Science Foundation Youth Project and four enterprise-funded R&D and engineering application projects. He has published more than 20 papers in journals such as Separation and Purification Technology, Chemosphere, and Bioresource Technology. He holds 11 granted invention patents and has received several awards, including one First Prize and one Second Prize of the Science and Technology Award of China Nonferrous Metals Industry, as well as the title of Outstanding Young Engineer of Beijing (24th round).
