
Rongyue Zhang, male, born in 1979. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Materials Chemistry from Hebei University in 2003, Master's degree in Polymer Chemistry and Physics from Hebei University in 2006, and Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2009. He joined the National Biochemical Engineering Research Center at the Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences in July 2009 and was promoted to Associate Researcher in July 2012. In November 2014, he joined the School of Chemical Engineering at Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology. From November 2019 to April 2020, he was a Visiting Scholar at the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine, University of Macau.
His long-term research focuses on the preparation of high-throughput polymer chromatography media and their applications in biochemical separation and purification. He has presided over 10 research projects including National Natural Science Foundation projects, sub-projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Beijing municipal projects, and enterprise-sponsored projects. As the second contributor, he has won one Third Prize of Hebei Province Science and Technology Progress Award, one Second Prize of Tangshan City Science and Technology Progress Award, two Suzhou Youth Entrepreneurship Awards, and one First Prize of China Association for Instrumental Analysis Science and Technology Progress Award. He has published over 30 papers and applied for 13 patents.
