Yushun Jin is a female professor born in 1968. She holds a Ph.D. degree and serves as a Master's Supervisor. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Jilin Institute of Chemical Technology in 1991. From 1991 to 1994, she worked in the Technology Development Department of Jilin Chemical Industry Company Shijinggou United Chemical Plant. She received her Master's degree in Chemical Fibers and Polymer Materials from Beijing Institute of Clothing Technology in 1997 and her Ph.D. in Materials Science from Sichuan University in 2000. She began teaching at Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology in April 2001. From September 2009 to July 2010, she was a visiting scholar at the Biomaterials Research Laboratory, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Tsinghua University. From October 2010 to March 2011, she was a visiting scholar at the Faculty of Engineering, Hiroshima University, Japan.

Her long-term research focuses on biodegradable polymers, functional materials, and drug-controlled release materials. She has presided over one Beijing Municipal Education Commission project, one Beijing Organization Department project, one Beijing Municipal Higher Education "Young and Middle-aged Backbone Teacher Training Program" project, and four horizontal projects. She has participated in the Beijing Municipal Education Commission Municipal University Innovation Capability Enhancement Program project, Beijing Natural Science Foundation project, Beijing Municipal Education Commission projects, and multiple horizontal research projects. She has presided over or participated in the compilation of 2 textbooks and 3 translated works.
