
Huiqin Lian, female, born in December 1969. She obtained her Bachelor's degree (1994) and Master's degree (1997) from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Changchun University of Technology. She began teaching at the Department of Chemical and Polymer Science, College of Science and Engineering, Yanbian University in 1997. She received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Yanbian University in 2005. From 2006 to 2008, she conducted postdoctoral research at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Cornell University, USA. From 2009 to 2011, she did postdoctoral research at the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Beijing University of Chemical Technology. She has been a Master's supervisor at Yanbian University since 2005 and currently serves as a Master's supervisor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Beijing University of Chemical Technology and the School of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science, Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology.
Her long-term research focuses on the design, preparation and properties of electro-mechanically responsive functional polymers and their composites, preparation of two-dimensional nanomaterials such as graphene, surface modification and conductivity studies. She has presided over research projects including the National Natural Science Foundation and Beijing Natural Science Foundation. She has published over 30 academic papers, including more than 20 indexed by SCI/EI, and holds 2 authorized national invention patents.
