The Intelligent Science and Technology major focuses on the theory, methods, and technologies that underpin intelligent information processing and intelligent systems. The curriculum combines computer science, information technology, and control theory, and includes courses in algorithms, data structures, pattern recognition, intelligent information processing, robotics fundamentals, embedded systems, and human–computer interaction.
Students are trained to understand and design intelligent perception, decision-making, and control systems, with applications in smart manufacturing, smart cities, intelligent instruments, and service robots. Practical teaching links, including experiments, internships, and comprehensive projects, strengthen students' engineering awareness and innovation capabilities.
Graduates are qualified for positions in intelligent system development, software and hardware integration, and smart product design in industrial enterprises, technology companies, and research institutions, as well as for further academic study in intelligent science, computer science, and related fields.
